Can Hypoglycaemia Be Inherited
Can Hypoglycaemia be inherited?
Yes, hypoglyceamia can be inherited. Most cases of hypoglyceamia are because of family history. If both parents have hypoglyceamia, it is possible for their children to develop the illness as well.
However, this does not mean that everyone in the family will have hypoglyceamia. There are also factors to consider why some may not inherit the illness of their parents. If both parents develop hypoglyceamia after giving birth, the child may not develop hypoglyceamia. However, if there are histories like grandparents having it, it is possible for the kids to have hypoglyceamia as well.

What is the Glycemic index?
Hypoglyceamia patients can have a regular check of their condition by using glycemic index. This index provides an avenue in the measurement of blood sugar levels resulting from food intake. Many people have an illogical concept of the correlation between foods being high on the index and acne. However, this is made in the absence of scientific basis hence hypoglyceamia index should not be applied.
