Is Hypoglycaemia Dangerous And Deadly
Is Hypoglycaemia dangerous and deadly?
Yes. Hypoglyceamia can be dangerous and deadly. There are different causes of hypoglyceamia but the effect goes straight to the brain as it lowers its function. It is very dangerous because it can cause neuroglycopenia, which is a condition where brain function is abnormal.
Hypoglyceamia can also cause different symptoms, which may lead to comatose and death. The inadequate supply of glucose to the brain causes brain to function abnormally. The blood for proper oxygenation also needs glucose; it will lead to other complications that may cause death if there is an inadequate blood sugar level.

What is the Glycemic index?
Hypoglyceamia patients can have a regular check of their condition by using glycemic index. This index provides an avenue in the measurement of blood sugar levels resulting from food intake. Many people have an illogical concept of the correlation between foods being high on the index and acne. However, this is made in the absence of scientific basis hence hypoglyceamia index should not be applied.
