What is Hypoglycemia?
Hypoglycemia is a term used to identify the pathologic state when the body have a lower than the normal amount of glucose in the blood. The term means low blood sugar. There are many problems arising from the impaired supply of glucose in the body but the most concern problem is fueling the brain. It can cause impairment function of the brain. It can occur in any age. The most common cause of hypoglycemia can occur during treatment of diabetes with oral medications and insulin.

What is the Glycemic index?
Hypoglyceamia patients can have a regular check of their condition by using glycemic index. This index provides an avenue in the measurement of blood sugar levels resulting from food intake. Many people have an illogical concept of the correlation between foods being high on the index and acne. However, this is made in the absence of scientific basis hence hypoglyceamia index should not be applied.
